Happy Birthday Brooke!

We celebrated Brooke's 4th Birthday in February at Big Horn Ski Lodge. Our whole family went skiing for the day! Brooke & Kenna both learned how to ski---it was their first time on the slopes.

Brooke needed help most of the way down the hill, but loved being able to "ski all by myself" the rest of the way down. She was really good at starting to turn, but couldn't stop and the result was an entire 360 degree turn. She was doing ski ballet on her very first day!

Kenna did really well! Towards the end of the day, she only needed Mom's help about halfway down the hill, and then could take off by herself with beautiful turns and even a full stop at the bottom!!!

Sydney said she had a great day of skiing! I only saw her for a few minutes on the little slope...then she was off to ski the big runs!

Kimberly decided that she was going to learn how to snow board. And just how was she going to "learn"? Well, by self-teaching of course! She got out there and did awesome!! By the end of the day, she was looking like a pro! Who can teach themselves how to snow-board in a couple of hours and actually be really good at it? Not very many people!

Somehow the whole day went by without a picture of Jessica being taken. She skied all day on the big slopes (one of the reasons I never saw her)! A big thanks to Rick and Denise!! Denise helped me with the little girls (Kent didn't get there till after lunch!) And Rick took most of the photos!!

THEN....we have Mr. Holiday. Look at him ski!! He makes it look sooooo easy! Kent is awesome at anything he tries!! I love to watch him!

The first thing Brooke wanted to do when she woke up the morning of her Birthday was to open just 1 or 2 of her presents! Well, what does that hurt? So...here is the Birthday Girl, fresh out of bed opening up "1 or 2 presents" to start her big day off right!

Back at home after an awesome day of skiing, it was time to get ready for cake, ice cream & presents...Kimberly made Brooke a sunflower cake!

Here is our dreamer:

Blowing out her candles!
